Breast Augmentation

A predisposition towards small breasts may be congenitally acquired, but sometimes the size of the breasts also decreases after pregnancy or substantial weight loss. In surgical breast enlargement (augmentation mammoplasty, breast augmentation) small breasts are increased and slightly drooping breasts are tightened. In the case of marked drooping or asymmetry in the nipple area, the breast augmentation should be combined with a breast uplift or nipple correction.
